Hi, my name is Robert Johnson, owner/operator of Alaska Angler Guide Service based in Soldotna, Alaska. I am a year-round Alaska resident who has fished the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers since 1985. I started guiding fishermen because I enjoy sharing the Alaskan fishing experience with others and seeing the excitement and satisfaction on people's face when they are successful in hooking a trophy king salmon. I try to provide anglers a chance to affordable experience Alaska's great salmon fishing. I am not the largest guide service here on the Kenai Peninsula, but I always strive to be one of the best! I take a lot of pride in running a first class, quality salmon fishing guide service. All of my equipment, from G-Loomis fishing rods to Shimano Calcutta reels, is the finest equipment available.

My Guarantee
When you book an Alaskan salmon fishing trip with me, you will fish with me! I am not a lodge or bed and breakfast booking salmon and halibut charters for hidden commissions. If you request I will happily recommend or arrange any service that I don't personally provide. Rest assured if I recommend a service, it is because I know and trust them. I do not take commissions. I have hunted and fished in the Western Untied States, Central America, Africa & most regions of Alaska. I have learned first hand how hard it is to find a guide or outfitter I could afford and trust.
